We’re delighted to invite you to our Summer Fundraiser on Friday 31st July
This special evening will help us raise essential funds so we can continue supporting people experiencing period poverty across Wolverhampton and the Black Country.
For the past eight years, Periods Matter has worked to make sure that people who menstruate can access the period products they need with dignity. From schools and community settings to local support services, we provide practical help, raise awareness and challenge the shame and stigma that still surrounds periods.
But demand for our support continues to grow.
That is why this fundraiser matters.

Date: Friday 31st July
Arrival: 6:30pm for a 7pm start
Venue: South Staffordshire Golf Club
Ticket Price: £35 per person
Ticket includes: Delicious buffet, tea and coffee, and entertainment
Additional drinks: Available to purchase from the bar
Why we need your support
Period poverty is still affecting people across our local communities.
For some, it means having to choose between buying period products and buying food. For others, it means missing school, work, social activities or everyday life because they do not have access to the products they need.
Periods should never be a barrier to dignity, education, confidence or participation.
Every ticket sold will help Periods Matter continue its work across Wolverhampton and the Black Country, providing free period products to those who need them most and supporting community-based projects that make a real difference.
What to expect on the evening
Our Summer Fundraiser will be a warm, welcoming and meaningful evening, bringing together supporters, friends, local businesses and community members who care about ending period poverty.
Your ticket includes a delicious buffet, tea and coffee, and entertainment. Additional drinks will be available to purchase from the bar throughout the evening.
It will be a chance to come together, enjoy a lovely evening out and support a cause that continues to make a practical difference in people’s lives.

Ways you can help
Host a Bin!
Do you have an office, shop or community space where one of our bins could add a touch of colour? Then why not host one of our collection bins and help us collect vital items for women and girls experiencing period poverty in the city? Our bins love being filled with feminine hygiene products, wet wipes, toiletries and new underwear!
Donate menstrual products
We welcome donations of items with open arms! Items can be donated via one of our collection points, by contacting us or via our Amazon List.
Volunteer
We believe many hands make light work and we're always happy to welcome willing volunteers. We have volunteer opportunities within the areas of social and digital media, collections and packing, distribution and fundraising.
Donate
We also accept financial donations to purchase items and help us deliver our essential services. A donation of just £5 will buy a starter pack of menstrual products and information for a young girl.
Fundraise
Throughout the year we participate in, and organise many fundraising events to raise essential funds to deliver our services. Book a workshop or talk
We love talking about what we do and spreading the word that PERIODS MATTER. Our team are very experienced in delivering talks and workshops to a wide variety of audiences, including educational workshops for schools.
If you would like us to speak at your event or deliver a workshop in your school, college or workplace, please get in touch to discuss your needs. Many of our workshops are fully funded and so can be delivered at no cost to you!
Join our Youth Forum
Our youth forum is for young people aged 12-16 years to get involved and ensure their voices are heard in the campaign to end period poverty.
Meeting on a bi-monthly basis, our Youth Forum meetings are filled with plenty of lively discussion, positive actions and fun activities. There is usually a biscuit or two consumed too!!
Attend an event
We love having our volunteers, partners and community involved in shaping our activities and what we do! We hold regular period packing events throughout the year, offering you the chance to get involved and learn, first hand, about the work we do.
